Terms of Service

SangamDrive provides software that helps you connect Google Drive accounts and manage file metadata and actions through a unified interface. File contents remain stored in Google Drive under your Google accounts.

The service is provided as an open-source / student-friendly project and may change, break, or shut down without long notice. Self-hosted instances you run yourself are under your control and your responsibility.

• You must be legally able to use Google accounts and this service.
• You are responsible for your login credentials and for activity under your account.
• You must only connect Google accounts you own or are authorized to manage.
• You agree to our Acceptable Use Policy.

Connecting Drive requires agreeing to Google’s terms and consent screens. Google may revoke access, change APIs, or show unverified-app warnings for apps that have not completed Google’s verification. SangamDrive is not affiliated with Google LLC.

Your use of Google services remains subject to Google’s policies. We are not responsible for Google outages, quota limits, account suspensions, or Drive data loss on Google’s side.

You retain ownership of your files. By using SangamDrive, you grant us permission to access and process Google Drive data as needed to provide the features you use (list, upload, preview, delete, sync), according to the OAuth permissions you grant.

Deletes performed in SangamDrive are intended to delete the corresponding Google Drive file after Google confirms deletion. Use delete carefully.

You must not misuse the service. See the full Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or that policy.

We may modify features, limit uploads, require reconnecting Drive accounts, or discontinue the hosted service. We try to keep the open-source code available on GitHub so you can self-host if the hosted instance changes.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SANGAMDRIVE AND ITS CONTRIBUTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS (IF ANY) OR (B) USD $0 IF THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE.

You agree to defend and indemnify SangamDrive and its contributors against claims arising from your misuse of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the operator’s primary place of residence/business, without regard to conflict of law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country say otherwise.
