Privacy Policy

SangamDrive (“we”, “us”) provides a web application that lets you sign in once and connect one or more Google Drive accounts to view storage, browse metadata, upload, preview, and delete files through a unified dashboard.

Depending on how you use SangamDrive, we may process:

• Account information — email address and authentication data managed via our auth provider (Supabase Auth), including session cookies.
• Google Drive connection data — Google account email, OAuth tokens (access and refresh) stored encrypted at rest, connection status, and storage quota summaries returned by Google.
• File metadata — names, sizes, MIME types, folder relationships, Google file IDs, and similar metadata needed to list and manage files in the dashboard. We do not permanently store your file bytes on SangamDrive servers.
• Usage and diagnostics — basic operational logs (for example request errors) that should not include tokens or file contents.

When you choose Connect Drive, you authorize SangamDrive to access Google Drive using Google OAuth. The scopes we request are shown on Google’s consent screen (currently full Drive access so we can sync folders and manage gateway files).

Uploads are streamed through our upload service to Google Drive. Previews and downloads are fetched from Google on demand using your connected account tokens. File contents are not kept as a SangamDrive-hosted copy.

You can disconnect a Google account in the product. Disconnecting removes our stored tokens and related metadata for that connection; it does not delete files in your Google Drive unless you explicitly delete them in SangamDrive.

• Authenticate you and keep you signed in
• Refresh Google access tokens so connections keep working
• Show combined storage and file lists across accounts
• Improve reliability and fix bugs
• Respond to support requests you send us

We do not sell your personal information. We use infrastructure providers necessary to run the service, which may include:

• Supabase (authentication and database)
• Hosting providers for the web app and upload service (for example Vercel and Render)
• Google (Drive API — your files remain under your Google accounts)

These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies.

We keep account and connection data while your account is active. You may delete connected Drive accounts in-app. You may request deletion of your SangamDrive account via Contact; we will remove stored account records and encrypted tokens we control, subject to any short-lived backups or logs required for security.

Deleting your SangamDrive account does not automatically delete files in Google Drive.

Drive refresh tokens are encrypted at rest. Sessions use secure cookie-based auth. Traffic should be served over HTTPS in production. See also our Security page. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use strong passwords and only connect accounts you control.

We use essential cookies (and similar storage) to keep you signed in and protect auth flows (for example OAuth state). We do not use advertising trackers as part of the core product.

SangamDrive is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). Do not use the service if you are under that age.

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will change the effective date above and, when appropriate, provide additional notice in the product or repository.
