Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is part of the SangamDrive Terms. It describes prohibited uses of the service and connected Google accounts.
Effective date: July 24, 2026
Purpose
SangamDrive is meant to help people manage their own Google Drive storage more easily. It must not be used to harm others, violate Google’s rules, or break the law.
Allowed use
- Connecting Google accounts you own or are authorized to manage
- Uploading, organizing, previewing, and deleting your own files
- Using the open-source code to self-host for personal or educational purposes under the project license
Prohibited use
You must not:
- Connect accounts you do not have permission to access
- Upload or distribute illegal content, malware, or material that infringes others’ rights
- Attempt to bypass security, scrape the service abusively, or disrupt infrastructure
- Use the service to spam, phish, or run unauthorized automation against Google or third parties
- Resell the hosted service as your own without permission
- Misrepresent the app as an official Google product
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and suspend or terminate access. We may also report abuse to Google or law enforcement when required.
